How to Use Slices
Slices.ttf is a public domain truetype font that takes block letter Roman capitals and slices them vertically into three strips, the left slice, the middle slice, and the right slice. These slices can then be reassembled into novel Roman-like letters for use as a conscript or syllabary.
Most standard width letters can be typed with three keystrokes. For example, upper case "R" is typed as "e3I" while the backwards "R" is i3e" .Wider letters like "M" or even wider letters of your own design could take 4 or more keystrokes. Here are the shapes associated with each keystroke:
